In May, the team of the KIDS OF UKRAINE Charitable Foundation successfully completed the Spring School intensive within the Fundraising NGO Growth Lab. The program was implemented by Razom for Ukraine in partnership with the UCU Leadership and Management Institute. Our foundation was selected from among 116 applicants, which is an important indicator of trust in our work.
Over the course of the four-day intensive, the team conducted a detailed analysis of systemic fundraising principles. The main focus was on building a sustainable model for the organization’s operations, one that ensures program stability and does not depend on a single source of support. Participants also explored practical aspects, including why certain strategies may fail in real-life implementation and how they can be adapted to achieve better results.
An important part of the training was dedicated to positioning. We explored how to effectively formulate partnership requests using the language of values and a shared vision of recovery, rather than limiting communication to reporting on current activities. All acquired knowledge and tools are already being integrated into the organization’s internal processes. This will allow KIDS OF UKRAINE to further strengthen the stability of its programs and continue its systematic work in psychosocial recovery for adolescents.
