Are all activities free of charge?
Yes, all activities and programs for teenagers are completely free of charge. This is made possible thanks to the support of our donors and partners.
Who can join the program?
The program is open to teenagers aged 11–17, including displaced children, children of military personnel, and those in need of psychosocial support.
What kind of support does the Foundation provide?
We offer comprehensive psychosocial support for teenagers through group and individual sessions with psychologists, educational courses, career guidance, creative workshops, art therapy, excursions, summer camps in the Carpathians, and other activities. Our approach helps teenagers adapt, socialize, and recover after the traumatic experiences of war.
Is the program conducted online or offline?
The “SviTY” program operates exclusively offline in our four centers — in Lviv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, and Zhytomyr. In-person interaction is a cornerstone of our approach, helping teenagers rebuild social connections, form real friendships, and experience genuine support in a safe, real-world environment.
How can a teenager join the program?
Parents or guardians should fill out an application form. After that, the teenager can attend one or two introductory sessions. If they decide to continue, parents take part in a short interview and sign an agreement for participation.
Do participants have to attend all activities?
We recommend completing the main psychological program in full, as it’s designed as an integrated course. Other activities can be joined voluntarily, depending on interest and availability.
Can friends or relatives join as well?
Yes, if they are within the age range (11–17 years) and complete the application form.
Does the Foundation organize trips or camps?
Yes, we organize field trips and recovery camps in the Carpathians for active participants who attend the program regularly.
How is children’s safety ensured?
Children’s safety is our top priority. During air raid alerts, all participants are accompanied to a shelter, where they can continue the activity or stay until the all-clear signal.
Does the Foundation work with parents?
Yes, when needed, we offer consultations, meetings, and joint activities. Parental involvement is not mandatory but highly encouraged to better support the teenager’s development.
Can I become a volunteer or support the Foundation?
Yes. You can offer your help, donate materials for activities, or join our initiatives. Please contact us through the details provided on our website or via social media.
