The KIDS OF UKRAINE Team Completed Ukraine’s First Impact Management Intensive

In May, the KIDS OF UKRAINE Charitable Foundation team took part in a three-day offline intensive on impact management—the first comprehensive training program in Ukraine dedicated to managing social impact. The course brought together leaders of charitable foundations, civil society organizations, and donor institutions.

The program covered the full cycle of impact management, from project design to strategic decision-making. Through practical case studies, participants explored three key areas:

  • Impact Design: designing social initiatives, assessing beneficiaries’ needs, and developing effective theories of change.
  • Impact Measurement: approaches to measuring social impact, defining meaningful indicators (outputs vs. outcomes), and collecting data in line with international standards.
  • Impact Management: using impact data to inform strategic decisions, communicate results, and strengthen organizational strategy.

For KIDS OF UKRAINE, continuously improving our internal processes is a key priority. The tools and methodologies gained through the intensive will help us measure the outcomes of the “Svity” program with even greater accuracy. We remain committed to strengthening our approach to delivering stability and psychosocial recovery for teenagers by relying on high-quality data, evidence-based practices, and effective long-term strategies.
