The Psychology Board is an expert advisory body of the Kids of Ukraine Foundation, established to ensure quality development of psychosocial support programs for adolescents.
The Board’s mission is to guarantee that all program activities meet the highest standards of safety, ethics, and effectiveness.
The Board members:
- provide expert recommendations on methodologies and program content;
- support the team through supervision, consultations, and training;
- participate in reviewing and developing materials;
- represent the program at professional events, conferences, and in research initiatives.
Why is this important?
Adolescents often face crises, challenges, and uncertainty. The Psychology Board ensures that our programs respond to these challenges sensitively, professionally, and with profound respect for every young person.

Oleh Chaban
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Medical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Certified Psychoanalyst (EAP, AGPA).
Specialization: Psychiatry, Medical Psychology, Psychotherapy.

Halyna Katolyk
Psychotherapist, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Section of the Ukrainian Association of Psychotherapists.
Specialization: Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Group Psychoanalysis.

Roman Kechur
Psychiatrist, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Ukrainian Catholic University.

Psychologist, Methodologist, Project Manager, and Trainer.
